Discipleship Program

Picture

Program Overview

The Discipleship Program is a seven-year journey that each spiritual mentor walks with a disciple as the Holy Spirit takes them through their transformation process. The disciple will navigate through a series of courses that will educate and expose them to the truth of the scriptures. Each year of classes covers eight specific areas of growth and development:
  1. Discipleship Training. Courses that are designed to teach how to align the disciples thoughts, actions and spirit with the Word of Yahweh.
  2. Bible Exploration. Courses that take each disciple through the books of the bible to familiarize them with the Living Word and how to apply the principles to their lives.
  3. Principle and Practice. Courses that teach fundamental truths based on the Word of Yahweh as well as to provide instructions on applying biblical truths to their lives as they gain understanding of the processes of transformation.
  4. Prayer. Courses that teach how to effectively communicate with Yahweh and the various types of prayer.
  5. Character Development. Courses that provide the information and tools that are needed to allow the Holy Spirit to develop His character within each disciple. These courses show how to identify, confront and break down all barriers and coping mechanisms that hinder spiritual growth.
  6. Relationship with the Trinity Development. Courses that provide an understanding of the Trinity, His nature, character and the standards that He requires to enter into an intimate relationship with Him.
  7. Internal Relationship Development. Courses that teach disciples how to remove the barriers, coping mechanisms, and conditioning this world has embedded in us and bring us into a place of healing and wholeness.
  8. External Relationship Development. Courses that teach disciples the vital principles of how to create and cultivate healthy relationships so we can live and operate in community.
The majority of the classes are available on our YouTube channel or currently in process of being added. Once the disciple has committed to the program it is up to them to inquire of the Holy Spirit and allow Him to direct them to the order in which He wants them to each course in conjunction with their Bible Exploration courses for that year.
Once the Holy Spirit has given the instruction, it is the disciples responsibility to inform their spiritual mentor which course they will start. The disciple will be given access to the course content (word documents and video links) by their spiritual mentor. Each course has a different number of classes which the disciple is able to navigate at their own pace. Upon completion of each individual video lesson the disciple is required to contact their spiritual mentor to review the content and answer any questions they may have as well as share any revelations they have received. This can be in conjunction with or separate from their weekly check in with their spiritual mentor.

Program Requirements

Weekly Check-ins
Each disciple is required to check in weekly with their spiritual mentor. This provides the opportunity for the spiritual mentor and disciple to form a connection and spiritual bond.
If a disciple fails to meet with their spiritual mentor more than three times within a four month period, they will be removed from the program and may become eligible to re-apply after a three month hiatus.

Learning & Development
Each disciple is required to be responsible for their learning and development. It is their sole responsibility to attend and learn from each class as the Holy Spirit instructs them.
If a disciple fails to attend 8 weeks of active courses, they will be removed from the program and may become eligible to re-apply after a three month hiatus.

DTC Prayer Meeting Attendance
Each disciple is required to attend the Disciples Training Center Prayer Meeting that is held every third Saturday of the month at the home of Prophetess Mona. This meeting is necessary to teach the foundational practice of operating in community as well as establish connections with other disciples and spiritual mentors.
If a disciple misses four prayer meetings within a 12 month period, they will be removed from the program and may become eligible
to re-apply after a three month hiatus.

AP2C Fellowship Attendance
Each disciple is required to attend at least one AP2C Fellowship per year. This provides an opportunity to spiritually connect with fellow disciples and spiritual mentors as well as others within the community. It fosters community and the sharing of the Word which helps the disciple to develop intimacy on a manageable level.
Not participating at least once per year will result in the disciple being removed from the program and they may become eligible to re-apply after a three month hiatus.

Outreach
Each disciple is required to participate in an outreach at least once per year. This outreach can be individually motivated or in connection with a group or organization. The outreach should provide some type of assistance: physical or spiritual, to those in need. It can include opportunities of giving, serving, prayer or sharing the Good News of salvation. This is to develop the disciple in connecting with their community and serving those in need.
Failure to participate in an annual outreach will
result in the disciple being removed from the program and they may become eligible to re-apply after a three month hiatus.
