"Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart"
-Luke 18:1
-Luke 18:1
What is the difference between prayer and intercession?
Prayer is a spiritual communication with God in the form of worship, supplication, thanksgiving, adoration or confession.
Prayer is the basis of our relationship with God. It is our primary form of communication with Him and can be manifested in many different ways. In its most basic form it is the sending and receiving of spiritual information. In essence, prayer defines and establishes your relationship with God.
Intercession is the act of intervening (standing between) on behalf of someone in difficulty or trouble by pleading or petition.
Intercession is an extension of prayer. You cannot intercede on someone's behalf if you don't have an established prayer life. You cannot petition God for someone else without having a foundational relationship with God through prayer. Every believer has a responsibility to be an intercessor as we are instructed to pray for one another.

"Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" - James 5:16
As revealed in the above scripture; it is the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man that yields the greatest results. Our intercessory team has been instructed on how to effectively stand in between others and their difficulties/troubles. We strategically come together with our individual gifting to unite and combat as a unit. It is through this method that we see many results for the requests that are brought before us. We fully understand that each prayer is subject to the will of God and we are not always privy to that will in another person's life; however, when we are in tune with the Holy Spirit, it is He who gives us what to say, instructs us on how long to pray and when to stop. We rely on Him to guide us when we intercede. We connect with each request, giving our full concentration, strength and energy that comes from our hearts. We truly stand with you for the situation and identify with each petition.
Prayer Requests
If you have a request which you would like us to pray for or with you, submit your request and it would be an honor for us to stand alongside you. You can submit your name and email address, however, it is not necessary. We do ask that you be as specific as possible with the details of the request so that we can pray effectively on your behalf. Also indicate if you would like for someone to contact you to pray with you personally.

Want to become an intercessor?
We believe that there is strength in numbers! If you feel the Holy Spirit calling you to intercede for others on a regular basis then we would love to have you as a part of our group. The only prerequisites is that you believe that God the Father sent His only son, Jesus Christ as your redeemer and Savior, that the Holy Spirit dwells within us once we believe and confess that Jesus died for our sins to reconcile us back into relationship with God the Father. Also, that you have an established prayer life and is willing to grow in your gifting. If you meet those requirements then all you have to do is fill out a contact form and one of our Intercessors will contact you with more information. We look forward to you joining us!
