Feast of Trumpets – Tuesday, September 23, 2025
Begins at Sundown on Monday, September 22, 2025 - An Annual Day of Remembrance and Rest.
The Feast of Trumpets shows us Adonai’s Care – Leviticus 23:23-25
This day was to be a worship festival for Adonai. It is a day to celebrate His overwhelming desire to have an intimate relationship with us. It is a day to reflect on how much He is concerned about us and the many provisions He has blessed us with this year during the harvest season. It also is a time to understand His desire for us to rest physically, mentally, and spiritually (Matt 11:28-29). While it is not one of the days that was mandated as a perpetual ordinance, it is one in which every believer should add to their calendar as a special day of remembrance to Him.
The Feast of Trumpets is a day that is observed as a day of rest.
Rest: Relief or freedom from anything that wearies, troubles, or disturbs.
We observe this day by declaring it Holy and not partaking in any regular work. We can come together with other believers to pray, worship and fellowship together. By doing this we proclaim to Him that we:
Day of Atonement – Thursday, October 2, 2025
Begins at Sundown on October 1st - An Annual Day of Thanksgiving
The Day of Atonement shows us Adonai’s Love – Leviticus 23:26-27
The day is a day of Thanksgiving to Adonai for allowing us the opportunity to enter into a relationship with Him and for choosing us. It shows us His desire to be our sole provider and to restore us to our original place of dominion. Its emphasis is on the importance that He places on our rest (physically, mentally, and spiritually) and fellowship with one another. A very important point we learn from this holy day is that Adonai is holy, omnipotent, and is not to be approached any type of way. We are to remember that He sovereign and should always be reverenced for the Supreme Being that He is. Knowing that it is our privilege to be in relationship with Him, not our right. This day reminds us of His standards for maintaining our relationship with Him. He desires and delights in “fine” prayer, which is prayer that is of the best quality we can give and stems from a genuine desire to communicate and converse with Him. Lastly, we can see and be thankful of the mercy that He grants to us and how He renews it every day, which is complete and life sustaining.

By observing this day, we are being obedient to Adonai’s mandate to set this day aside as holy for perpetual generations. It makes the day a true Thanksgiving as He commanded. The activities should include the following:

Begins at Sundown on October 6th - An Annual Week of Gratitude and Giving
The Feast of Tabernacles shows Adonai’s Provision – Leviticus 23:33-34
The week is a time to offer gratitude for Adonai’s provision for us throughout the year. It is a time to be grateful for His spiritual refreshment and rest from the natural things of the world to commune with Him. Gratitude to our Father is expressed when we are a blessing to all of Adonai’s creation, especially those that acknowledge Him as Father. This is accomplished through the week in our giving. We celebrate Adonai’s provision of family, natural and spiritual, through fellowship opportunities throughout the week and the holy assemblies on the first and last days. It is a time of celebration as we reflect and enjoy all of His wonderful benefits.
The Feast of Tabernacles is a week-long celebration of Gratitude which is meant to be observed forever.
By observing this festival, we are being obedient to Adonai’s mandate to set this time aside as holy for perpetual generations. Its emphasis should be on our gratitude and giving back to Adonai by giving to each other as He commanded. The activities should include the following:
2. Gratitude and remembrance of Adonai’s benefits in your life and reflect of ways to pay it forward
by giving to those whom the Holy Spirit places on your heart.
3. Gratitude for Adonai’s grace and mercy that is renewed every day and covers our mistakes and faults.
4. Gratitude for His Word, His Spirit and His Will in our lives and our commitment to obey all His commands over us.

- Acknowledge and receive the call of Adonai for us to enter into an intimate relationship with Him through prayer, worship, and praise.
- Understand the necessity of rest in our lives and in every part of our being: mind, body, and spirit. And to commit ourselves to continuing to observe a day of rest as He commanded us from the beginning of creation (Genesis 2:1-3).
- To reflect on His provisions for us throughout the year.

- Declaring and acknowledging the day as holy and not partaking in any regular work. It should be a day devoted in fasting, prayer, worship, and fellowship.
- Come together with other believers to reverence and worship Adonai for who He is and share testimonies and/or declarations of thanksgiving for the relationship that you have with Him. There should be a time of reflection and acknowledgment for the provision of blood of Yeshua (Jesus), the Living Word, which gives us access to an intimate relationship with God as well as covers our mistakes. We should reverence and express thanksgiving for the Holy Spirit who lived within us and teaches us how to live in obedience, holiness, and communion with Adonai.
- Teach the next generation about Adonai’s sovereignty, love, mercy, and provision which is observed, remembered, and demonstrated in our lives every day.
- Learn, understand, and reflect on the ways that sin defiles our service to Adonai and each other. We should allow the day to be a time of deep introspection, cleansing and consecration. This is best accomplished by allowing the Holy Spirit to bring revelation of those things which are hindering your relationship with Him.

For those that are able, a true sabbatical for the duration of the festival can be observed in which you devote time in praise, worship for spiritual refreshment.
- Come together with other believers to celebrate what Adonai has provided to you throughout the year. This can be a time of testimonies and/or declarations of His provision in your life which you share with each other. Reflect on the following.
2. Gratitude and remembrance of Adonai’s benefits in your life and reflect of ways to pay it forward
by giving to those whom the Holy Spirit places on your heart.
3. Gratitude for Adonai’s grace and mercy that is renewed every day and covers our mistakes and faults.
4. Gratitude for His Word, His Spirit and His Will in our lives and our commitment to obey all His commands over us.
- Host and/or participate in celebrations at your home or the homes of other believers. Invite family and friends over to partake in Adonai’s provision and goodness through food, fellowship and games. Be intentional to bless others naturally and spiritually.
